澳大利亚悉尼疑出现疯牛病疫情 当局澄清

食品伙伴网讯    据外媒报道,悉尼一名男子在被确诊患上罕见的克雅二氏症(Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease)后,又有消息称,上月已去世的一名妇女家人认为,她与该名前财务总监患的是相同病。澳当局呼吁民众勿恐慌,说克雅二氏症不会传播。

    据报道,麦考伊(Rhonda McCoy)上月死于克雅二氏症(Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease)。她离世前,被克雅二氏症折磨了十天。周二,一名男子被确诊患上同样的病症并且时日不多。

    克雅二氏病是传染性海绵状脑病或朊粒病的一种,会感染患者的大脑。疯牛病也是传染性海绵状脑病的一种,是人类克雅二氏病的“变体”。

    A Sydney family fear their loved one may have passed away from an extremely rare disease, the same ailment which could claim the life of another man within days.

    Last month Rhonda McCoy suffered for ten days before dying from what was believed to have been Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.

    Her family told their story just days after it was revealed former chief financial officer of the Sydney Swans Frank Burton, 63, may have just days to live due to the same rare condition.
